All power structures can be attacked and demolished by truth. God’s truth is a mighty weapon and will free us from the structures of power created by man. Each battle is not without loss. The loss can be and most certainly will be family, friends, money, physical health and injury. The battles can be so intense that all of these losses will come in a single battle. There maybe time in between the battles for a regrouping, a healing time for physical restoration, for emotional restoration and even financial restoration. But there may not be time and you are thrust into an even bigger battle, and in the midst of the war you know the toll it will take and you wonder how you might survive, and if you do what parts of you will not even be operational. You wonder what your new normal will even look like.
Truth fighters fight for their own soul’s ability to stand in God’s truth and not allow anyone to dictate how life’s freedom looks. So your new normal sifts through relationships that attempts control, because we know control is related to a power structure created in lies. It seems as one battle ends I find myself in a new community with only the shirt on my back. The new people that come into your life can’t understand the wars you have fought nor why you would fight them. I keep these histories close to my heart, grateful Lord that you are creating me to fulfill my destiny as a truth fighter.
Now I look for other truth fighters and people of integrity. Those are my people. Truth fighters who love every word that proceeds from the mouth of our Father. Those who have weighed the cost and fight anyway. I’m losing my ability to be in relationships with anyone who won’t stand with me shoulder to shoulder and fight. I’m learning from other truth fighters that we release those who can’t fight, who won’t fight, who don’t even understand that there is a war. Psalm 91 becomes my life, I see those beside me fall, tens of thousands to my right and to my left. Relationships are not transactional, they are love. I want to be such a lover that I refuse to let anyone willing to fight to be overtaken by a power structure.
The Lord is my refuge and He is my Hightower. He is the structure of truth that defeats all other dysfunctional transactional lifeless, life sucking structures of this world. His angels guard my way and He rescues those who love Him. My grandsons are becoming men of integrity and my granddaughter a mighty warrior who is set apart to be victorious. My legacy Lord is to see them stand as truth fighters. Amen
